Thank you for visiting the website for the Georgia Appalachian Center for Higher Education (GACHE). GACHE is a federally funded program through the Appalachian Regional Commission, an agency which serves 13 Appalachian states. Housed and sponsored by the University of North Georgia, GACHE invites eligible high schools in the Appalachian region of Georgia to submit a proposal for a grant to implement strategies that encourage and assist at-risk students to continue their education beyond high school.
